Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month Dancing with Julia

Have you ever dreamed of being a drummer, singer or dancer?  Then join the Library to help author and songwriter Raquel M. Ortiz with a puppet production, based on her book, When Julia Danced Bomba / Cuando Julia bailaba bomba.  Raquel will teach bomba drumming patterns and songs. Then choreographer José Costas and dancer Emma Manzanares will share bomba dance steps. We’ll end the program with the short film Julia’s Dance, A Bomba Flamenco Bedtime Tale.
