Celebrate Big Apple BBQ
On Tuesday, June 13, Madison Square Park Conservancy will “Celebrate Big Apple Barbecue,” paying homage to the historic Big Apple Barbecue Block Party with a more intimate, one-night event highlighting regional barbecue. This new tasting event, a fundraiser for Madison Square Park, will feature 27 restaurants and pitmasters from across the New York Metro Area, along with exclusive bourbon tastings and live entertainment.
The outdoor event will be held at the southern end of Madison Square Park, in the heart of Manhattan’s Flatiron District. A Premium Tasting Hour will run from 5:30 to 6:30 pm, providing exclusive access to high-end bourbon samples. General Admission begins at 6:30 pm and lasts until 8:30 pm.
The Premium Tasting Hour will feature Maker’s Mark bourbon from noted world leader in premium spirits, Beam Suntory, and the first release from family-owned and -operated Paul Sutton Bourbon, which is a bottled-in-bond Kentucky bourbon whiskey made from a family mash recipe developed more than a century ago.
All proceeds support Madison Square Park Conservancy, the non-profit organization that raises 100% of the funds to operate and program Madison Square Park.
Please note: tickets cannot be purchased at the event.
