Connie Manna, a talented freelance illustrator from New York, has made a significant impact in the art world with her unique style and diverse portfolio. She has collaborated with various clients, including medical publications, advertising agencies, and book publishers, showcasing her versatility. Her art has reached audiences across several states, reflecting its broad appeal.

Manna’s painting FREEDOMLAND will be showcased at the 3rd Annual Arts Exchange, February 8 to April 13, 2025, at Arts Westchester, 31 Mamaroneck Ave, White Plains, NY.  FREEDOMLAND is the latest addition to her “Growing up Bronx” series and is based on her childhood recollections of the defunct amusement park that once stood on the land now occupied by Co-op City.

2025 marks the 65th anniversary of the debut of Freedomland U.S.A. In commemoration, Manna will be teaming up with Bronx historian, Michael Virgintino, author of Freedomland U.S.A.: the Definitive History (2018) and Freedomland U.S.A.: More Definitive History (2024) throughout the year to present the story of Freedomland from its conception to today.

Manna also runs the Paint a Masterpiece a Day program for ages 5 and up, designed to enhance the painting experience for aspiring artists. This program is offered at local libraries and through various educational initiatives, including summer en plein air lessons on the beach.
