Bowery Gallery is pleased to present its 34th Annual Juried Exhibition of work in two dimensions, juried this year by Elisa Jensen.

Bowery Gallery’s annual juried exhibition gives the art-loving public a first look—or a fresh look—at artists young and new to the scene, as well as mid-career artists. This international group of artists includes many who live and work in the Northeast, as well as artists from other regions of the United States and abroad.  The show presents work in a wide and eclectic range of media, including oil, acrylic, pastel, gouache, flashe, and mixed media.

This year’s juror, Elisa Jensen, teaches at the Pratt Institute and the New York Studio School. She has received awards for her work from the New York Foundation for the Arts, the National Academy Museum, and the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Her work has been reviewed and featured in Two Coats of Paint, Hyperallergic, and The New York Times, and she has exhibited at David & Schweitzer Contemporary, the Painting Center, and the Pamela Salisbury Gallery, among others.
