Beyond Architecture: The NEW New York – A Discussion on Historic Preservation

The Skyscraper Museum hosts an in-person discussion on Beyond Architecture: The NEW New York, a collection of essays marking the 60th anniversary of the New York City Landmarks Law. Contributors Justin Davidson, a Pulitzer Prize-winning architecture critic, and Nat Oppenheimer, a structural engineer specializing in historic preservation, will explore their essays, “The Long View: Building for Rebuilding” and “Engineering Landmarks,” in conversation with museum director Carol Willis. The program is free, with limited in-person seating, and will also stream live on YouTube.
