Bar Marseille (190 Beach 69th St) in the Rockaways will transform into Bar Mexico the first Saturday of every month from 12pm – 10pm. To kick off October, Bar Mexico will host a lively fiesta complemented by music from DJ Lefty beginning at 8:30pm. Appetizers will include Chips and Guacamole, Calamares Fritos, Queso Fundido and Black Bass Ceviche. Birria, Carnita and Tinga de Pollo Tacos will also be on the menu and specialty entrees include Carne Asada with rice, beans and salsa verde, Red Snapper Barbacoa with potatoes, cilantro and lime and Oxtail Birria with rice, beans and cilantro. Dessert indulgences include Churros and Cheesecake Flan. Enjoy cocktails like a White Peach Paloma, La Mula, Cinco de Mayo and The Maggie made with Espolon Tequila, St. Germain, Jalapeño, Lime and Cucumber with a Chili Salt Rim available in three flavors such as the Pink Guava, Watermelon and Mango.
