An Artist’s Nature: The work of Ron Becker

Long Island artist, Ron Becker, will be exhibiting his colorful landscape and nature paintings at the UUCSR Art Gallery. Ron will be available to share his process and the inspiration for creating his realistic work at the opening reception on Sunday, September 21, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. The exhibit closes October 21, 2025.

As a realist, Ron uses color and variety of tones to create drama, inviting the viewer into the painting, while expressing the nature of his heart and soul. Ron focuses on environments that illicit a feeling of calm, serenity, beauty and the divine. Ron is on the Suffolk County Citizens Advisory Board For The Arts and is President of BACCA (Babylon Citizen Council of the Arts). His work has been exhibited in galleries on Long Island, the RIVAA Gallery in NYC, solo exhibits at the Bayard Cutting Arboretum and at galleries in NJ, MI, TX, and VA. He has won several awards in juried shows. Ron has also painted murals in health care settings, schools and for the Town of Babylon at Cedar Beach, Gilgo Beach, and in Deer Park.
