In collaboration with Executive Director Crystal Field at Theater For The New City, Mark Tunstall and Michelle Plevin present Always Young The Musical. This exciting, brand new musical, written and directed by Mark Tunstall, brings British writing to New York actors and audiences. This not for profit production has been a lifetime in the making for Mark Tunstall, who wrote many of the songs as poems in his late teens and early 20’s. Two years ago Mark decided to develop the already published book of poems “Cautionary Tails For Kidults” into the musical Always Young. Developing the story arc and writing more than 10 additional songs, along with the music writing talents of Lulu Chen and Tom Hatfield to bring Marks tunes to life. Opening on January 15th 2026 for 3 weeks.

A show for adults about our memories. A nostalgic yet disconcerting reality check, that uses music, and tall tales to deliver powerful messages.

20 Original musical numbers accentuate the stories with genre bending sounds and styles that traverse musical history. Honky-Tonk Piano meets Contemporary Rock with feelgood Broadway and Vaudevillian style numbers.
