ADHD & Personality Issues w/ John Kruse, MD, PhD

The Manhattan Adult ADD Support Group is pleased to present the following lecture on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 6:00 PM (NYC time) on Zoom:
ADHD & Personality Issues w/ John Kruse, MD, PhD
If we’re lucky, our traits will serve our needs.
If not, a glitch is sometimes called an “ism” or even a disorder. Three such are:
— perfectionism: marked by unrealistic standards; intense self-criticism if these are not met; and (if excellence is out of reach) trouble finishing a project.
— narcissism, or narcissistic personality disorder: featuring a pervasive sense of superiority; a pronounced sense of entitlement; a constant need for praise; and a lack of empathy for others.
— borderline personality disorder: typified by feelings of emptiness; fears of abandonment; emotional instability; and relationships that fluctuate between “I love you” and “I hate you.”
Each can overlap with ADHD — or mimic it — causing confusion.
On May 29, cutting some of the fog will be psychiatrist, neuroscientist, and YouTube educator John Kruse.
