18th Annual Bushwick Film Festival
The Bushwick Film Festival (BFF) returns October 1–5, 2025 for its 18th edition, bringing five days of independent film and culture to venues across Brooklyn.
This year’s theme, Meet Us at the Movies, is a celebration of friendship, connection, and the timeless joy of sharing stories. In a world that often pulls us in different directions, the festival continues to create space for people to come together — through film, culture, and meaningful experiences.
Whether it’s your BFF, your mom, the group chat, or someone you meet in the popcorn line — the Bushwick Film Festival is a place to make connections, discover new stories, and share them with the people who matter most.
Festival highlights include a blue carpet opening night reception, nearly 100 short and feature-length films, industry networking and creative panels, and special events including Comedy Night, Industry Brunch and BFF Awards Ceremony.
